Sarita Karki is a development professional with expertise in project management, carbon projects, sustainable development, and human resource and organizational development. She has more than a decade of hands-on experience working with national and international organizations, government agencies, and private sector agencies in Nepal and across Asia. Ms. Karki is the Founder and Executive Director of Sustainable Environment Foundation Nepal and has been leading initiatives in clean energy and climate solutions, including her engagement with Sustainable Prosperity Initiative Nepal. She has worked with leading organizations including the United Nations Foundation’s Clean Cooking Alliance, Imperative Global, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), ActionAid International Nepal, and CE Construction. Her expertise includes project design, development and implementation, stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, institutional strengthening, and organizational development. Ms. Karki holds an MBA from Bangalore University and an MBS from Tribhuvan University. She has also completed the Women in Clean Cooking Mentorship Program and short courses on the Paris Agreement, Global Biodiversity Framework, and sustainable development.
