Community-Based Resource Management

A clean and healthy environment is a fundamental constitutional right, yet climate change, rapid urbanization, and pollution are severely threatening ecological security in Nepal. SEFNep actively champions community-based natural resource management to address socio-economic inequality in resource access. We move beyond research by helping deploy scalable, evidence-based solutions to secure the energy-water-food nexus in highly polluted and climate-vulnerable zones. Our interventions are designed to promote water security and equity, mitigate environmental health risks, and build sustainable livelihoods for local populations.
